SDM290e Standard Definition MPEG-2 Decoder

In addition to the features common to all Stradis standard definition decoders, the SDM290e offers outputs and features to match the needs of the most demanding decoding application.

Video Output

• SMPTE 259M-C SDI (Serial Digital) video output.
• Composite (RS-170-A) video ouptut
• May be configured for RGB or YPrPb component video output.
• Genlock input for synchronizing the video clock with a reference signal.

Audio Output

• Eight channels of embedded audio available on SDI video output.
• Two AES3 digital audio outputs can output four uncompressed channels or two compressed streams.
• Four balanced analog audio output channels.
• Two unbalanced (CD-ROM Style) audio outputs for monitoring.
• Four audio streams can be decoded simultaneously.

Other Features

• RS-422 Machine control input.
• Linear Time Code (LTC) output.
