Introducing the SDM290ex

Stradis is pleased to announce that all of the great features available in the SDM290e are now available in the PCI-Express x1 form factor. The SDM290ex is 100% feature compatible with the SDM290e, using the same application programming interface (API) as our previous products. With a simple driver update, the SDM290ex will work with your existing applications that support our previous line of standard-definition products. This will ease the pressure of motherboard selection as PCI slots disappear from the marketplace.

For customers that prefer to use PCI decoders, the SDM290e, SDM280e, SDM260e, and SDM230 will continue to be available.

  • MPEG-2 4:2:2 and 4:2:0 decoding
  • SDI with embedded audio
  • Composite and component video
  • 8 channels of AES3
  • 4 channels of balanced analog audio
  • RS-422 machine control
  • LTC output
